Vancouver’s iamforest set to release the full Bridges EP and music video August 18th, 2017 on all streaming and download platforms.

With features on EARMILK, BIRP.FM, and LA's KCRW for the first singles off the EP, iamforest landed the opening slot for BANKS to a sold out Vogue Theater in Vancouver, Canada. The Bridges EP is now set for full release and will be accompanied by the much anticipated music video for the leading single,"Bridges". Teaming up with Do604 as part of the Donights concert series in Vancouver, the Bridges EP release show is booked for one week after release (August 25th) at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, BC.

An ethereal fusion of analogue instrumentation blending seamlessly alongside chunky digital percussion, ghostly vocals, and lustrous synths, the Bridges EP pushes the bounds of existing genres and is set for full release August 18th, 2017.

Working closely with Armory Pacific out of Seattle, Washington, the Bridges music video is a stunning yet sombre account of the reoccurring rituals of one man losing touch with something once familiar. Cognizant of the inevitable conclusion, his addiction to the memories impels him to revisit them night after night.

"His usage of ambience over warm vocals and hazy synths create a sublime soundscape to get lost within."

"Everything fits together perfectly, and the EP is frankly something of a masterclass in traditional electronic music production."

"This is a rich, dynamic effort with glistening synths, active rhythms, and soaring vocal melodies that project a psychedelic, hazy charm in addition to the sleek synth-focused arrangements"

iamforest is the electronic project of multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, and audio engineer, Luke Forest Hartle. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Luke has travelled the world creating music in a range of styles. From the stripped down acoustic sounds of the Meadows EP to the lofi electro-groove full length "iamforest LP", his sound has been evolving over the years in the industry.

Picking up the guitar at a young age, as is the well worn path for most budding musicians, Luke has since progressed into the world of electronic production. The goal of the project is to bridge the gap between the inhuman perfection that electronic music allows, and the human imperfections that come with analogue instrumentation. The result is a warm, lofi, beat driven style that floats in and out of existing genres, creating the signature sound that is iamforest.
